Gathering of Geeks made it just in time this June with another last-minute episode, returning to the Finnish metal scene once more! Bear went to Lost in Grey’s practice space to see Anne Lil Rajala and Harri Koskela! You may remember them from two Unleashed features focused on their first two concept albums, “The Grey Realms” and “The Waste Land.” Our main topics revolve around books and music (gaming and score), including the Moomins, Pippy Longstocking, Animorphs, Johanna Sinisalo, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Aku Ankka [Donald Duck], Chip ‘n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers, Megaman, Final Fantasy, Ori and the Blind Forest, Hollow Knight, and so much more!
Hear Bear pitch a few classic books and artists, while Anne Lil tells about schooling her old principle as a kid as to the linguistic value of Aku Ankka, and Harri mentions an abiding love for all music by Hans Zimmer.
