Ahhhh as a Trauma informed Hatha Yoga Teacher who's also a Strength & Condtioning Coach and Meditation Teacher with a side of Psychologist, there's so much that's fascinating in this article. Not least the ways that you speak about yourself and the relationship to your body. I also have my issues with standard medicine even though parts of it are invaluable. I can't wait to hear more 🙏🏻
Wow, I feel like I just read a post written by my wife. She saw so many different doctors and specialist, all who had different suggestions, but nothing lasted. Eventually she done her own research and thought maybe her issue was heavy metals, after getting some tests it wasn't. Instead it was mould toxicity. At the time of being diagnosed she was almost bed ridden, struggling to get up and then needing to lay down just as quick. Fortunately she is at the end of her recovery and feeling a lot better.
I live with chronic pain, I have since I was 15 and gotten bit by a tick. I couldn't walk for a couple years, but eventually I was able to get back on my feet, but my whole bodies a mess. I can't function properly. I have so many doctors and nobody knows what to do with me. They tell me I have fibromyalgia and then do the bare minimum to help me. Stomach issues? Who knows what to do about that. Western medicine has failed me and I honestly don't know what to do. It's such a shame. Thank you for speaking about this, it made me feel less alone.
Wow. Thank you for this! Informing can relate to far too much of this experience. I appreciated you sharing your journey! 💙 I’m off to check out your book and the me you mentioned, Breath. 😊

Thank you for the kind words! I promise part 2's metaphor is going to get a bit ugly 😅

Gawd that sounds like a journey. Glad to hear she finally figured it out and is doing better!
